Welcome to an excursion to the Eastern Uusimaa archipelago estates:
The excursion includes a visit to the archipelago where ice fishing takes place, an archipelago lunch, and a visit to two agricultural estates that practice sustainable farming. The cost is 50 euros, which includes lunch and the round trip bus transport. The meeting place in Porvoo is a long-term parking area where you can leave your car for free.

Eat & Joy is the new market hall for local produce in the Kluuvi shopping center in central Helsinki, Aleksanterinkatu 9. Members from the the new Slow Food Helsinki convivium were present on Terra Madre Day, Saturday, December 10 from 9 am to 3 pm.
The members gave out information on Slow Food and shared cups of Garden Angelica juice, from Riuku-Jotos in Inari, Lapland.
Fiskars Festival:
The Slow Food Festival in Fiskars was a chance to taste what is fresh, fair and delicious in Finland! Local producers, upscale restaurateurs and food aficionados from all walks of life got together at the Slow Food Festival in the village of Fiskars on October 1st–2nd, 2011.
"Delicious food from Finland" was held on August 26–27, 2011 near the Helsinki Central Railway Station. This event aimed to inspire genuine food lovers about the world of Finnish delicacies, meeting local food producers, tasting great food and learning more about the domestic food production and its origin.
